Colors of Friendships

Every year we look back on our lives

and remember friendships of present and past.

And many colors will come to mind

For the reasons these friendships last.

The color Red is for the strength you have

and the courage that you show

Believing in what you think is right

And standing up for what you know.

The color Blue is for the happiness you give

By being there when I am down

for understanding me even when I am wrong

And the patience that you have found

Yellow is for the laughter we've shared

Until tears rolled down our cheeks

For the memories will never fade

Whether thy were made last year or this week.

Orange is for the encouragement you give

When my goal seems impossible to achieve

You're always there cheering me on till the end

Giving me confidence and the power to believe

Violet is for your artistic style

And the creativity you display

For sharing your ideas with me

In your own unique and magical way

Green is for helping me to grow

And for showing me that change is okay

Getting active has made me more energetic

And I feel good at the start of each day.
